Soggy

Rained like H-E-double-toothpicks yesterday! I went with Camille, the housing coordinator and looked at 3 places. All have some weird quirk but the one we're trying for seems like it's in a pretty good spot. I've added the other 2 and office locations to the map 2 posts back. It reminded me how fun hopping on the metro was, just popping up in some other amazing place in Paris.

Well, at least the reflection! This was the sun peeking through last night after a rainy day.

stroll to stay awake

Locals suggested I stay up until at lease 10 to force a swift lifting of my jet lag fog and sitting or curling up in my bed didn't seem like a good way to ensure that so I strolled out, had a bite and walked all the way down to Notre Dame... 4.5 miles round trip! Who knew.

Day Without Night

Left LAX at 3:45 arrived in Paris 11 hours later.  Dipped low then magically rose again from roughly the same spot.


Traveled with Elliot (editor) and Jake (Post Supervisor)

The plane had an amazing tail cam view!

 The sun never fully set as we seemed to have skirted the arctic circle.

 Rats and Roaches here too apparently.

Hitting a wall... they want me back at the production office at 5 (20 min) and that's good as I should try and stay up as long as I can this afternoon!
